W. P. Haines & Co. was founded in New York in 1898 by William P. Haines and made uprights, baby grands and player pianos, also building instruments for Bradbury and Webster. After the Great Depression it was absorbed into the Winter Piano Company of New York, which kept using the W. P. Haines name until about 1950.
