Behning

Behning was a New York piano maker founded by German-born Henry Behning Sr. in 1861, trading for a time as Behning & Klix and later as Behning & Sons, with a factory on East 128th Street in Manhattan. It made uprights, grands and player pianos, including the Wendland player brand. Kohler & Campbell bought the firm and made Behning pianos until 1956.
