Terms of Use
For tuneintime.com, the Tune In Time: Piano Tuner app and Tune In Time in chat assistants
Last updated: 19 October 2026
About these terms
Tune In Time (Sinay Elihay) runs the website tuneintime.com, the Tune In Time: Piano Tuner app and Tune In Time's tools in chat assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude (together, "the service"). By using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What the service is
The service gives information about pianos: the year a piano was built from its serial number, facts about piano makers, guides, and a health check that measures how far a piano is out of tune with your phone's microphone.
This information is an estimate. Serial charts can be incomplete or differ between sources, a phone measurement isn't a technician's inspection, and value ratings describe a brand in general, not your piano. Don't rely on it alone for decisions such as buying or selling a piano.
Your account
Some features need an account. Give accurate details, keep your sign-in secure, and tell us at hello@tuneintime.com if you think someone else is using your account. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
You can delete your account at any time (see How to delete your account). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Your photos and stories
When you add a photo, a story or other details of your piano, you keep the rights to them. You allow us to show, store, resize and share them on the service: in the piano gallery, on your piano's passport, on brand pages and in share images, for as long as you keep them on the service.
Only add content you have the right to share. Don't add photos of other people without their consent, or anything unlawful, offensive or misleading. Photos are reviewed before they appear, and we may decline or remove content. You can remove your photos at any time.
Acceptable use
Use the service for your own pianos and questions. Don't copy our serial charts or brand database in bulk, scrape the service or call it automatically beyond normal use, try to get around its limits or security, interfere with how it works, or use it to send false bookings or claim pianos that aren't yours.
Booking a tuning in Israel
In Israel you can ask Tune In Time to call you about a tuning, on the website, in the app or from a chat. A request isn't a contract: the visit, its time and its price are agreed directly with you, before any work starts.
Premium and purchases
Premium features in the app are sold through the App Store and Google Play. Payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds follow the store's terms; you manage your subscription in your store account.
Tune In Time in ChatGPT and Claude
You can use Tune In Time's tools inside chat assistants. Your conversation is handled by the assistant's provider under its own terms. If you connect your Tune In Time account to an assistant, it can see your pianos and save new ones as described on the consent page; you can disconnect it at any time in your profile. Answers written by the assistant are its own, not ours.
Our content and data
The service's text, design, serial charts, brand database and software belong to Tune In Time or are used under licence (for example Wikipedia text under CC BY-SA and OpenStreetMap data). You may use them for your own, non-commercial purposes; don't republish or sell them without our written permission.
Other sites and services
The service links to other sites and services, such as app stores, technician directories and shops (some links to Amazon are affiliate links). We aren't responsible for their content or terms.
No guarantees, and limits on liability
We work to keep the service accurate and available, but it's provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.
As far as the law allows, Tune In Time isn't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by relying on the service's estimates. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer.
Changes and ending
We may change the service or these terms. When we change the terms in a way that matters, we update the date above and tell you on the service or by email. We may stop offering parts of the service. You can stop using it and delete your account at any time.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without taking away any protection the law of your own country gives you as a consumer. Questions about these terms: hello@tuneintime.com.
