Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about piano tuning and our services in Israel.
How often should my piano be tuned?
Most pianos benefit from tuning at least twice a year. New pianos or those in spaces with big humidity or temperature changes may need tuning more often (e.g. every 3–4 months).
How long does a tuning take?
A standard tuning usually takes about 1–1.5 hours. Pianos that are very out of tune or need extra work may take longer.
Do you come to my home?
Yes. We provide in-home piano tuning across Israel. You book a visit and we come to you at an agreed time.
What does tuning cost?
Cost depends on piano type (upright vs grand), condition, and how long it has been since the last tuning. Use our Cost Calculator for an estimate, or contact us for a quote.
What is A440 tuning?
A440 means the note A above middle C is tuned to 440 Hz, the standard concert pitch. We tune to A440 unless you request a different pitch.
Can you fix sticky keys or other problems?
We can diagnose and address many mechanical issues (sticky keys, uneven touch, dampers). For major repairs we can advise and, when needed, refer you to a specialist.
Which areas do you serve?
We serve cities across Israel including Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, and the surrounding areas. Check our city pages for your area.
How do I book?
Use the Book a Tuning or Contact form on this site. Send your details and we’ll get back to you to schedule a visit.
