Stultz & Bauer

New York piano maker formed in 1883 when dealer Henry Stultz went into partnership with Frederick Bauer; the firm was incorporated in 1892. It built upright, grand and player pianos in Manhattan factories. In the late 1920s it joined the Kohler group, and Kohler & Campbell kept making pianos under the Stultz & Bauer name until about 1957.
