Jewett

Jewett pianos were made in Leominster, Massachusetts, starting with Allen & Jewett in 1860, a partnership of Wade H. Jewett and George A. Allen that built square grands. After Jewett's death in 1895 his nephew Frank Jewett Woodbury renamed it the Jewett Piano Manufacturing Company, which merged with M. Steinert & Sons in 1903. It closed in 1931.
