Richmond was a piano brand from Richmond, Indiana, said to have started as the Richmond Piano Company in 1879 and absorbed into the Starr Piano Company in 1893. Starr then sold Richmond pianos as a lower-priced line next to its Starr instruments in its stores and catalogs, and made them until about 1950.
