The Musette was a low, roughly 36-inch spinet piano introduced by Winter & Co. of New York in the early-to-mid 1930s and often named as one of the first American spinets. Player versions followed in the late 1930s. After Winter merged with Aeolian, the Musette name stayed in use on spinet and player pianos until Aeolian's last years.
