Lindeman & Sons

Lindeman & Sons was a New York piano maker started by William Lindeman, who had built pianos in Dresden before emigrating and setting up in New York around 1836. The firm was known for its Cycloid Grand of the 1860s–1880s and later made uprights and grands. The name passed through United Piano Corporation and ended up with Aeolian-American.
