P. A. Starck
The P. A. Starck Piano Company was founded in Chicago in 1891 and made uprights, small grands and player pianos, with a factory at Ashland Avenue and 39th Street. Under the founder's son P. T. Starck it also became a large Chicago piano retailer and bought the Steger Building in 1924. It stayed independent through the Depression and closed around 1965.

P. A. Starck Piano was a piano company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, United States. It was founded in 1891 and closed in 1965. It was said that its "bent acoustic rim ... [gave] the Starck upright the tone of a grand piano and [made] it especially well adapted for concert use".
