Henry F. Miller

Henry F. Miller, a pianist who had worked for Emerson, started making pianos in the Boston area in 1863, and after his death in 1884 his five sons ran the firm. It made grands, uprights, squares, pedal pianos and later player pianos. Winter & Co. bought it in 1945 and moved it to Memphis in 1951, and Aeolian built the brand into the 1980s; the name is now used on pianos made in Asia.
