Gunther J
J. Gunther was a piano maker founded in Brussels in 1845 by Jacques-Nicolas Gunther and became one of Belgium's main piano builders, winning awards at the 1867 Paris exhibition for its cross-strung pianos. After his early death his widow and then his son Louis-Joseph ran the firm. Belgian maker Louis Anthonis bought it in 1921 and used the Gunther name into the 1960s.
