Hallet & Davis

Hallet & Davis traces its roots to Brown & Hallet, a Boston piano firm started in 1835; George H. Davis replaced Brown in 1843 and the business was incorporated as Hallet, Davis & Co. in 1879. The Conway family took control in 1905, and Aeolian bought the company in the Depression and built the name until the 1980s. Chinese-made pianos are sold under the name today.
