Boardman & Gray

Boardman & Gray was a piano maker in Albany, New York, formed in 1837 by merchant William G. Boardman and piano builder James A. Gray. It was known for square pianos in the 1800s and later added uprights and grands; it also published sheet music. After an 1860 factory fire the business was briefly sold to William McCammon, and the firm appears to have closed in the 1930s.
