Armstrong

Armstrong was a piano brand started in 1884 by W. B. Armstrong in the Rochester, New York, area. It merged with George Foster's firm to form Foster-Armstrong, which moved to a new concrete factory in East Rochester after a fire in the early 1900s and became a founding part of the American Piano Company. Aeolian kept making Armstrong pianos until it dropped the name in 1982.
