New York piano maker that began in 1868 as Doan, Wing & Cushing and was run by the Wing family as Wing & Son from the 1870s. Instead of showrooms it sold directly by mail order, using a catalog titled "The Book of Complete Information About Pianos", and offered a mechanism imitating mandolin, harp and other string tones. It disappeared in the early Depression, around 1931.
