Whitney
The Whitney Piano & Supply Company was started in Chicago around 1890 by Alvin, Arthur E. and Frank H. Whitney and was bought by the W. W. Kimball Company in 1895, the year it was incorporated. Kimball then used Whitney as its lower-priced brand for decades.
