Weber
Albert Weber, a German-born piano maker, set up his firm in Manhattan in 1852 and was one of Steinway's main rivals in the late 1800s; the company is credited with coining the term "baby grand". Weber joined the Aeolian group in 1903 and was made in East Rochester, New York, until Aeolian failed in 1985. The South Korean maker Young Chang now sells pianos under the Weber name.

The Weber Piano Company is a former piano manufacturing company based in New York City and East Rochester, New York from the middle of the 19th century through the beginning of the 20th century, and continued as a division of Aeolian-American at East Rochester, New York until 1985, when Aeolian went out of business.
