Walters Piano Co.

Piano maker founded by H. B. Walters in 1902 with a factory on Wilbur Avenue in Long Island City, New York. In 1912 Walters sold his interest to the Bloomingdale Brothers department store, which sold the pianos in its stores and catalogs. The firm made mostly player pianos, also under names such as Erhard, Harmony and Coleman, and appears to have closed in the Depression.
