Kroeger pianos came from a New York City firm founded in 1879 by Henry Kroeger as Henry Kroeger & Sons, soon renamed the Kroeger Piano Co. It also used the names Gildemeester-Kroeger and Gildemeester. Kohler & Campbell bought the company in the mid-1920s and made Kroeger pianos until 1957.
