Doll, Jacob
Jacob Doll founded his New York piano firm in 1871, building uprights, squares and grands; after his death in 1911 his sons incorporated it as Jacob Doll & Sons. The company took over several makers, including the National Piano Manufacturing Co., and made Electrova coin-operated pianos. It went into receivership and closed around 1931.
