Blasius & Sons

Blasius & Sons was a Philadelphia piano maker and dealer founded by Charles Blasius in 1855, with warerooms on Chestnut Street and factory space in Philadelphia and later Woodbury, New Jersey. In 1887 it bought the rights to the Albrecht piano name. The Rice-Wuest Company took over the firm in the 1910s, and pianos bearing the Blasius name were made into the 1920s.
