Beckwith was a piano and organ brand of Sears, Roebuck & Co., sold mainly through its mail-order catalogs from the late 1800s into the 1920s with a Chicago nameplate. It was the best-selling of the Sears piano names, which also included American Home and Maywood. Collectors report that outside factories, such as Winter & Co., built many Beckwith pianos for Sears.
