Melville Clark

The Melville Clark Piano Company was founded in Chicago in 1900 by Melville Clark after he left Story & Clark, and it moved its factory to DeKalb, Illinois, around 1904–1905. It made Melville Clark pianos and Apollo player pianos and is credited with an early 88-note player grand. Wurlitzer bought the piano business in 1919, shortly after Clark's death.
