Krakauer Bros.

Krakauer Bros. was a family piano firm founded in New York City in 1869 by Simon Krakauer with his son David and brother Julius, with its factory in the Bronx. It took over the Haddorff Piano Co. in the 1920s and stayed in family hands for over a century. Howard K. Graves bought it in 1977 and moved it to Berlin, Ohio; under Kimball, the plant closed in 1985.
